Molde FK concluded their training period with a 3-0 friendly win over Kristiansund BK on Sunday, October 4th. The victory provides a boost before the team returns to league action against Lillestrøm next weekend.
The match was played at Molde's home ground and ended with three goals for the hosts. Kristiansund BK were unable to respond to Molde's dominance. This was the team's final test before the important away fixture against Lillestrøm, who sit sixth in the Eliteserien.
Molde themselves hold a solid fourth place in the league with 36 points from 21 games. The team has won four of its last five matches, with only one defeat against Aalesund. This clean-sheet win underlined their good form.
The victory over Kristiansund BK gives the squad a confidence lift ahead of the next challenge. Molde travel to Åråsen Stadion to face Lillestrøm on Sunday, October 11th at 19:15 local time. A win there could strengthen their position near the top of the standings.
