Both MFK and KBK played home games in Eliteserien in football on Monday. The home crowd in the two cities braved a changing spring weather and turned up at Aker Stadion and Nordmøre Stadion to cheer on their teams. In the end, the fans had to watch their teams go off the pitch without taking any points. 1 – 0 loss for Molde Molde Football Club hosted Lillestrøm at Aker Stadion. At halftime, it was scoreless between the two teams. In the second half, Thomas Lehne Olsen put Lillestrøm ahead with a goal after five minutes. MFK pressed hard at the end of the game and was close to a chance, but did not get the ball in the goal. Molde player Emil Breivik came into a good position on overtime, but the ball went just outside the goal. Olsen's goal was the only one in the game and Molde lost 0–1 at home. – Bensin Molde coach, Martin Falk, thinks they dominated parts of the first half and should have taken the lead before halftime. In the second half, he thinks it swings a bit more. Although we have the ball a lot, we become a bit tempo-slow. We don't come up with as far-reaching situations and it becomes a bit static, he says. Falk thinks the players may have been a bit stressed by Lillestrøm's scoring in the start of the second half. – We may be stressed instead of continuing with what we can and are good at. It's about working safely and securely, then you get paid. From before, Molde had a win and a loss this season. Now Falk says they will work towards the next game, which will be against HamKam. – If this is not gasoline, I don't know. It's about analyzing what we should take with us and become better at, he says. – Fortent Kristiansund BK did not manage to take points when they hosted Bodø/Glimt at home on Nordmøre Stadion. Bodø/Glimt had good control of the game. They scored two goals in the first half and increased the lead further in the second half. The result was ultimately 0–3 to the away team. – It was fortent. Bodø/Glimt was better than us today, says Amund Skiri, KBK coach. – We are not good enough today. First and foremost with the ball, it becomes too sloppy. And we did not get started with our own attack play, he adds. Skiri says that what Bodø/Glimt has achieved in Europe is impressive and that he takes lessons from the game. – The interesting thing about Glimt is their tempo, precision in their attack play, and how they are coordinated and secure. They are an inspiration to many, including us. To get there is not easy, but it's at least something to stretch for. KBK stands with a win and a loss so far this season.
