Molde opened the season with a win over Rosenborg, before two consecutive losses. Since then, they have found their form, and the win over Vålerenga takes the romsdølingers to 4th place after six games played. Molde won 5-1 over Vålerenga at Aker stadion, with two goals from Fredrik Gulbrandsen. Emil Breivik, Eirik Hestad and Sondre Milian Granaas also scored for Molde. Vålerenga coach Geir Bakke admits that the team was outplayed. Gulbrandsen sent the home team ahead in the first half, but was furious when the lead slipped away just before halftime. – It's completely unbelievable. It's a bunch of nonsense.
