Molde FK have completed the signing of striker talent Kristian Lonebu from rivals Aalesund. The 20-year-old forward was registered in the Norwegian Football Federation's systems and is already eligible to play for his new club, according to a report from NRK Sport.
The transfer fee is reported to be 35 million Norwegian kroner by Sunnmørsposten. This makes Lonebu Aalesund's second biggest sale of all time, only surpassed by Anders Lindegaard's move to Manchester United for over 43 million kroner back in 2010. For Molde, the signing comes as the team sits fourth in the Eliteserien with 27 points from 17 games. They have scored 32 goals and conceded 26, a positive goal difference of six.

The sale of Kristian Lonebu comes at a critical time for Aalesund. Kjetil Rekdal's team is fighting at the bottom of the table and currently occupies 15th place with a three-point gap to safety.
