Molde lose to Brann – 2-1 defeat at Aker Stadion

Molde lost 2-1 to Brann at Aker Stadion on Saturday, ending their first home defeat in the Eliteserien since April 6. Brann broke a 20-year curse in Molde and secured a rare victory in the 'City of Roses'.

What happened in the match?

Brann started strong and led 2-0 with goals from Denzel De Roeve and Kristian Eriksen. Molde pulled one back with Seydina Diop, but couldn't turn the game around. Brann manager Eirik Horneland was pleased with the win, even though he felt his team became timid in the second half.
